We have purchased 4 X 9124s over the past 6 months. 3 of the switches after short use lost their ethernet ports. Power cycling etc will not get the ports working. I keep sending them back for replacement but now the replacement units are also failing...
We currently have all traps sent to a specific IP address but getting inconsistencies. Is there a command in the CLI to view the outgoing traps or a list of traps sent? CheersRichard
What do people use for monitoring / login switch information to help with faults etc.Our SAN has now grown to about 70 switches 50/50 brocade / cisco. (time we started keeping an eye on it)
Yeah I was thinking of that or just route it out over the mangement port of another switch via FCIP.Ill have a crack at that and see if the latest firmware fix's it.Cheers

Unfortunatley a reboot of the switch doesn't bring the port back, it doesn't even get a link light!It stinks of a hardware fault but I carn't believe iv had 4 straight failures.
