Users anonymous.

Guys,

I have several anonymous users in my controller who appear connected to various Access Points.

The network uses RADIUS to authenticate users who are in the AD, and there are no users with the name 'anonymous' in the AD.

Can someone explain to me what is happening? Is there any Cisco material that explains this?

Possibly Android-OS and the "Identity" field is blank.

But would 802.1x accept authentication without the username that is in the
AD?

Yes.  I see this behaviour all the time.  We have ISE and our users are either Android, Apple or Windows.
