hello,
i am wondering what the disadvnatges of the high-dual stack profile versus the default profile (dual stac) are.
using the high-dual stack means more endpoints but where are the disadvantages? related to the scalability guide it seems that less contracts are supported and less multicast routes.
is this correct? anything else?

The high dual stack profile also disables reporting on contract rules.
Other than that, just keep in mind that the amount of tcam memory on switches is still limited. This means that the memory must be removed from somewhere else. The defaults are pretty good overall though. 9 out of 10 times you probably don’t have to modify the profiles.

Helle, thanks for Info.
in our scenario we are running into the endpoint limit of the default profile. Therefore we have to adapt. We voted now for ipv4 profile now because we do not use ipv6

With the IPv4 profile you don't have the downside of not having reporting on the contract rules. Do keep an eye on the utilisation of your switches though.
