Hello, I wonder if it is possible to define the same EPG in different Application Profiles. I was thinking in using an EPG with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory services providing these functions to several EPGs in different Application Profiles.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Jose,
yes you can but you do not need to. reason, you can create a BD called "Infra" , include your subnets for DNS DHCP etc , infrastructure services in BD "Infra". now create AP " Infra" and Epg "Infra" .. use contracts to provide functions in EPG infra to other EPGs.

Hello.
No, you cannot have same EPG in different application profiles. As stated in another post:
"You can have multiple EPGs in the same application profiles. But an EPG can be a child of only one application profile at any given time. It's the same that EPG can be associated with one BD at any given time."

Hello Jose,
If you have theses services on different subnets, it's better for trouble shooting purposes to create one application profile called infra services then create different BDs/EPGs for each subnet under same AP.
Then create one contract and make it as a consumer on vzAny then provider under all configured EPGs.
So later on , any new created EPG would use this contract by default.
