I am trying to install acimodel in my python3.5 env but I am unable to find the git repo of acimodel. Getting an 404 error page from github. Is there any alternate way to install acimodel ? https://github.com/datacenter/acimodel Thanks, Mujeesh

Hello Mujeesh,

Since that page is in a 404 state, I am not 100% sure what it was hosting. However, if it was a rip of the ACI model used for Cobra SDK, the following documentation can be followed to locate/install it:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/aci/apic/sw/1-x/api/python/install/b_Install_Cisco_APIC_Python_SDK_Standalone.html

Which highlights the following method to locate the egg install file:

  1. You can download the two .egg files (acimodel and acicobda) from a running instance of APIC at this URL:
http[s]://<APIC address>/cobra/_downloads/

As these egg files are updated per version of APIC OS, I can only assume it was removed from your provided URL as that version would have only been good for one specific version (and for versions prior, given backwards compatibility).

Thanks Gabriel,

Actually, I was looking for acicobra & acimodel installation files for Python3.

Mujeesh

Mujeesh,

Looking on the git page for acicobra, it looks like there is still no specific implementation for python 3 but there is an issue opened up to track it. It also looks like there may have been some movement on this 8 days ago.

I would recommend leaving a message here to state your necessity:
