ACE 4710 PAC

Hi

I need to use the Ace 4710 to distribute a Proxy PAC file, e.g.  http://proxy.myorg.com/proxy.pac which will be configured in client browser using an AD group policy.  Is it possible for the ACE to host and serve a file in this way?

Hi Tim ,

Yes it is posible , by configuring a server farm for http ( tcp/80) with 2 or more real servers.

I actually want the ACE to act as the http server, to store the PAC file on the ACE's disk and serve it to the clients.  Is this possible?

Hi Tim ,

I do not know where is the root of the http server of the ACE - and I do not know if this directory is visible -  but this will mean to allow http access to the management of the ACE - the http server is used for management purpose, which in my opinion it's not desirable.
