ACE VIP problem

Hi!!

I am having problem accessing a VIP on our ACE 4710.

I am able to ping the VIP ( 192.168.200.10 ) But no traffic seems to be passed to the serverfarm.

Here is my configuration:

( attached file: config.txt )

I am able to access the web servers directly with no problems from the client-side. But not by the VIP itself.

Any ideas?!

Thanks

Phil.

The ping comes from ACE itself based on your config (vip icmp-reply).

So it just means your client knows the path to the ACE module.

If you can't connect to the vip, this is probably because the server does not respond or does not send the response through ACE.

Verify that the default gateway is ACE for the servers or configure client nat.

Gilles.

My mistake. Problem was the default gateway on my web servers.

Thanks.
