ACNS Content Engine GUI

I just purchased a 510 Content Engine for my customer.

I went thru the initial setup dialog, and have the base config on the box. The instructions on the web indicated that once configured, the CE would tell me what port to use in my browser to get to the Mgmt interface for GUI. This did not happen. The online example used port 8001, this does not work for me.

Please help!

Kevin,

Make sure the default route is configured with the "ip default-gateway" command and it is pingable.

Then, be sure the url you enter contains the protocol (HTTP) and a trailing forward slash. For ex:

http://172.17.63.225:8001/

If I leave out the protocol at the beginning, it does not work for me as well.

I think the port number by default is 8003. Also, if you're running ACNS v5.1, the GUI became secure http; that is https://a.b.c.d:8003/
