Hi All,
Has anybody worked on a scenario where a single certificate has been used by two different VIPS to offload traffic to same URL.
URL is hosted on 4xServers wherein VIP1 points to first two servers and VIP2 points to remaining two servers.
If yes, could you please share your experience?
Thanks,
KP

Yes, you can put the same certificate on as many servers as you want. Just export the certificate and its private key (and certificate chain if you can), and then import on the next device.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for the response. My scenario is as follows,
I have a ACE load balancer with VIP1 and VIP2
I have certificate installed as cer.pem and key.pem
VIP1 and VIP 2 pointing to 2 servers each and VIP 1 is serving a production server.
We are planing to replace the servers represented by VIP 1 to the servers that will be represented by VIP2.
Now we want to use them in parallel, Is it possible i can call and use the certificate for both the serverfarms.
My guess would be as long as you do not use FQDN to access the VIP it should be fine. However if access the FQDN it might be a problem as DNS will resolve to one of the VIP and you might not end up on the right rservers.
Thank you Philip in Advance.
Regards,
KP
