commit_vip_redundancy fail's to syncronise due to differences in file size.

After the script complete's it reports :

File copy Vipr Config Sync Failed.

Commit unsuccessful!

localconfig: 24727 bytes

remoteconfig : 24653 bytes

I've looked through the config but it's rather large and could really do with some pointers to help narrow down the area to investigate.

I've googled and looked for trouble shooting for this but can't find anything to help.

what's your software version ?

There is at least 1 known issue like this :

CSCee08664: commit_VipRedundConfig shows failed due to byte difference

I would first make sure you are running the latest version and if the problem persist, save the 2 configs in a file on a unix/linux machine and use the command 'diffs' to get the difference between the 2 files.
