We use a CSS 11000 to redirect the users HTTP request to a anti-virus appliance configured in proxy mode. We want to do the redirection transparently, without any proxy configuration on the client side.
But the HTTP request from the client side are in standard format and the anti-virus appliance supports only HTTP request in proxy format.
My question:
Is it possible for the CSS 11000 to convert standard HTTP request into proxy type HTTP request, before to send it to our anti-virus appliance?
Thank you.

this is not possible.

you could use a cache engine to do the conversion from normal format to proxy format.
You will have CSS redirect to cache engine and then cache engine contact the proxy.
The advantage of the cache engine is that you will be able to cache content as well.

Gilles.
