CSS11501 to CSS11503

I am trying to get some information on the CSS11503�s compatibility with CSS11501.

We have two 11501 devices and like the way they work in our failover scheme.

Can the 11503 successfully create an APP session with the 11501?

Is there an encryption module in the device, or is it extra?

You can't configure redundancy between different model of CSS.

APP session should work however.

The 11503 is modular.

So you need to buy the encryption module separately. Same if you need multiple FE ports.

You will also need at least one SCM which is the main processor.
