Hi,
We have a CSS11501 which came pre-installed with software version 7.20 (Build 206).
I wanted to upgrade this to version 7.40, so our supplier sent us a CD with the software image.
The install failed, because the supplier sent us the wrong image (ap0500037s.adi).
They then sent us another cd, with the correct image (sg0740004.adi-gz) ...
... however, I couldn't upgrade to this version, because the system now has two software images (the original 7.20 and the ap0500037s.adi).
When I try to remove the incorrect image, the CSS says that it doesn't exist.
When I try to install an image, it says I have to remove one of the other images first.
I don't really want to have to remove 7.20, just in case I have to roll-back for some reason.
Any ideas?

Paul,
unfortunately there is no alternative.
You have to erase the disk and reinstall an image from offdm.

You will have to reboot and go into offdm.
From there, by surfin the menus, you should be able to remove the image you don't want.

Gilles.

Thanks for that Gilles, I'll give it a go.
Thanks,

Gilles,
I went into offdm, but the same thing happened.
I selected the option to delete an image, but there was only one image listed, and that was the currently working one (which I really want to keep, in case I need to roll-back).
When I use the upgrade command, it says 'you have to remove one of the images, would you like to delete ap0500037s.adi?' I select yes, but it won't delete.
Are there any alternatives to formatting the disk?
Thanks,
Paul.
