Hello

I have a css11506 with dual SCM - I can find only little documentation how to handle this configuration.

Do I need to do any passive sync for every config change or does it happen automatically.

Can I trigger a failover ?

I am used to the kind of redundancy that exist on cat6500 IOS with dual supervisors where config changes are synced automatically.

you always need a 'pasive sync' but before that you need to save the running config into startup-config since the 'passive sync' config will synchronize the startup configs.

There is no way to force a failover that I know.

Gilles.
