ESPN extremely slow loading

I am using a CE 550 with CE 2.51(0) WCCP 2 and having a problem with ESPN loading extremely slow. I only see this using Internet Explorer if I try it using FireFox everything works normal. What I mean by slow is four to five minutes to load. If I turn on the proxy and connect that way everything is okay. The perplexing thing is it is only IE

Take a sniffer trace in front of the cache while using IE and when using Firefox.

See what is different.

Probably something inside the HTTP header to disallow cache or something like this.

Try this command as well

"http client-no-cache-request ignore"

Turning off Persistant connections solved the problem. Why I do not know
