Hi,
I'm having a similar problem with HSE v1.8.2
The Alarm subTab is missing on the monitor Tab, even when I use the admin user to access HSE.
Did you manage to solve your problem?
If yes, could you tell me how?
Thank you very much.
Best Regards,
Ricardo

Hello Ricardo,
in Version 1.8.2 there are two buttons in the Monitor Tab.
Active Alarms and Alarm Log.
Do you have this two tabs?

Hello Sven,
Thanks for you reply.
in the Monitor Tab I only have the views and view tables buttons.
This is the default, what I mean is that this is what the hse shows, just after running the setup script and device discovering, using the admin user id.
Should I change the admin profile to be able to see the alarm related buttons?
Best Regards,
Ricardo

Hello Ricardo,
normally the admin user has all rights.
Did you change them?
You can check this via
Administration -> User Managment -> Roles
The System Admin, shoud have checked the fields:
- Active Alarms
- Alarm Log
- Theshold
Also you can Check if your admin User belongs to the HSEADMIn group.

Hi Sven,
Guess what?
I was not running v1.8.2!!!
I thought I was because HSE already had a 1.8.2 patch applied.
Now I'm sure (I've done the necessary upgrades) version 1.8.2 is the version HSE is running ... and as expected all the features are available (including the Alarm functionality ... :) ).
Thanks for your time and effort regarding this issue ... That is no longer an issue ... my mistake.
Regards,
Ricardo
