insert-http X-Forwarded-For header-value into HTTPS policy

Hello,

I have successfully used the "insert-http X-Forwarded-For header-value "%is" into a policy-map to allow the source IP to come through on a port 80 rule, but how do I do the same for a 443 rule?  I am currently passing through the 443 and terminating on the servers, do I have to terminate SSL on the ACE to use the "insert-HTTP"?  And, if that is the case, do I still use the same "insert-http" in the policy map?

Thanks,

Dave

Yes, you would need to terminate SSL on the ACE in order to insert this header.

Yes, the command syntax to insert the header is the same.
