Issues with upgrading software

im trying to load a new software image onto disk0:

however is there any option to view the actual files on disk0:..i.e dir

when i download the software 4.1-it downloads to 125 Megs........doesnt this seem huge?

when i ftp..i get the username.. but never the password prompt

Hi there,

Yeah from the admin context you can run a dir disk0: and see what files have been stored there.

host/Admin# dir disk0:

     7465  Jan 03 00:13:22 2007 C2_dsb

     2218  Mar 07 18:38:03 2007 ECHO_PROBE_SCRIPT4

     1024  Feb 16 12:47:24 2007 core_copies_dsb/

     1024  Jan 01 00:02:07 2007 cv/


Now if what you want is take a look at the OS files you need to do dir image:


About the FTP problem seems like the ACE can't reach your FTP server at all, please first check connectivity between both devices, ping, traceroute, try to telnet from ACE to server IP on port 21 and see what you get.

well it looks like i do have network connectivity to the server

Your FTP-server or maybe a firewall on the way is refusing your connection. Please check this!
