keepalive port 80 & 443 - custom script needed

I have several servers that server both port 80 and port 443 traffic. Currently each service is configured for a keepalive on port 80.

I need a way to configure each service to have a keepalive for port 80 and port 443, does anyone have a custom script to monitor both ports?

Any help would be appreciated.
