Can you give me a command or procedure to copy files from a server on a directly connected network to a WAE running 4.2.1?

Possibly would there be any way to copy all files from two directories of a Hard Drive connected to the USB port of a WAE?

Might there be any way to do either activity by upgrading to a newer OS?

Hi James,

You can not copy the files directly to WAE. It needs to go thru WAE by means of an optimized sesson thru another WAE. In other words, we can not pre-populate the files without having them go thur the WAE in the form of an opimized session. This is because WAEs will not write the actual data to the disk but will write chunks for the data in a compressed manner.
