Hi all,

I have a new GSS 4492R appliance, running  v4.1(1) out of the box, and presently attempting to configure it (creating region, location, etc.) per the GSLB configuration guide.  When attemping to issue commands under the "config-gslb" config mode, the following is returned:

     Unable to Determine GSS Status.

     Command Execution Failed.

Consulted several GSS user guides and performed online searches related to the above and haven't been able to figure out why such behavior.  Can someone please assist?  Just trying to configure the appliance as an authoritative NS for private/public domain(s).  Thanks.

Looks like defect CSCtr63776 "Interface config got wiped off while configuring HTTPs kal" which was duplicated to defect CSCtr63776 "Interface config got wiped off while configuring HTTPs kal". This is fixed in 4.1.3.2. Release notes indicate that reload without saving config should resolve.

Symptom:

partial config loss on platform.cfg leads to box not accessible state.

Conditions:

This has been observed in couple of box, where partial loss of running.cfg/platform.cfg which leads to box not accessible condition, as platform key data's like ethernet, ssh, telnet ...etc are been wiped off, bringing the running box to down state. multiple thead or process accessing  to platform.cfg leading to config loss state.

Workaround:

Reload the box with out saving the current configuration when it asks during reload.
