Service Load in CSM

I am currently using a CSS-11500 serie in a large environment. Load balancing is based on actual server CPU load, mesured by a VBS script that then set the "apSvsLoad" MIB variable in the CSS for the corresponding service. This works perfectly. Now, we plan to change the CSS though CSM modules in a Catalyst 6500. My question is : what is the equivalent MIB variable to set into the CSM to achieve the same result as with the CSS ?

Thank you,

Yves

Yves,

to my knowledge the CSM is not using the concept of load. So, there will not be any load parameter in the mibs.

Could you instead adjust the weight ?

You could set 'slbRealAdminWeight' [see ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/v2/CISCO-SLB-MIB.my].

Regards,

Gilles.
