SNMP For CSS11503

Hi,

I am configuring SNMP for CSS11503. I have two devices one is master and the second is backup.

SNMP configuration is the same on both devices. But SNMP Manager does not see backup CSS.

What can be the reason? Management IP is the same for master and backup.

If you are in box-to-box redundancy this is normal.

For the rest of the world there is only one box.

If you want to manage the 2 separately, you need vip and interface redundancy.

This is actually a much better solution.

Faster failover.

Both devices manageable separately,
