Strange SSL redirect Problem with IE6/Win2000/CSS11506

Hello all and thnx in advance,

If someone using IE6 and Win2000 (no pattern at all concerning SP's and patches) tries to access our ssl-encrypted-forms (only the large ones!!!) and sends it to validation he SOMETIMES gets the old page redisplayed no matter if he entered the form right or wrong... the session seems to get lost...

I'm grateful for all help!!!

System:

We are using 5 Servers behind a loadbalancer (11506 Cisco)... the servers are running oc4j containers and struts.

The Loadbalancer is capable of SSL-encryption and is used for it, SSL is running on port 443 (client - loadbalancer) and 4443 (loadbalancer - appservers).

IE sometimes has issues with certain http redirects. Have you checked for known issues such as bugs..see bug CSCed37041

for instance although it might not be directly related to your issue.
