Disvovery Via WMI

At one of new locations just installed some of the PC's are being discovered via WMI while most of them are being discovered via ARP. Username and Password has been entered for WMI but they still use ARP.  Is there a way to force WMI to discover more information about the device?

Please confirm that the Windows platforms *NOT* being discovered by WMI have been configured to allow WMI.

Even though you provided credentials into the device dialog, the PC needs to be allowing WMI.  We can find no other reason that the WMI discovery is failing for these devices on the same network.

Once the PCs are properly configured, they should start being discovered via WMI in the portal within minutes.
