Hi Guys,
Looking at the workings of Voice on the MultiWan Config for the 547 I have a question on how the Voice module and failover should work, I have 2 WAN's setup a PPPoA dsl (WAN1) and a Ethernet PPPoE connection (WAN2), The default routes for voice and system are on WAN1,
Now if I fail WAN1 the sytstem route fails over to WAN2 no problem at all but the voice route does not and the voice connection fails i.e no attempt to pass SIP out WAN2, the voice status page just shows registration failed and goes into retry (no sip at all on WAN2) , so the question is should this ?, The enclosed 54x CD does not have any admin quides so not sure what should happen here, I would be assuming that this is proabably a fault, but if yopu can confrim for me that would be helpful.

Hi Phil,
A few updates for you and the team.
1. We've fixed the voice route issue so that it now follows the system default after failure.
2. General update for the SRP540: We have finally made the products available to distribution this week. New documentation is available on the web (www.cisco.com/go/srp500).
3. MR1 code is also posted for the SRP540 - we recommend that all units are upgraded to this release as an absolute minimum. Shipped product should already have this code, or if not an older version will prompt the admin user to upgrade immediately when they log in.
Any questions, please let me know!
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,
This does not look to have been fixed, switching between the default system route is fine but the voice will not failover and it stays purely on the selectable default voice route, Since the connections can not be live at the same time surely the default system and voice route should behave in the same way and move to the active connection.
At present in this config if I have the default voice route set as the PPPoA connection and it fails the WAN2 PPPoE ethernet connection comes online and I have my auto failover for data but the voice stays on the PPPoA....
