CSCve27812 - ISE 2.2 Password Recovery using System Utilities during boot up is broken - 2

This seems to still be an issue with version: 2.6.0.156.

Seems like any ISE appliance spun out form the OVA can not have the password recovered via the ISO. 

Anyone have any definitive answer that says otherwise?

Multiple password recovery attempts have not been successful.

UPDATE: it worked after I entered a new password with NO special characters.
