Hello,
My name is Tineke and I live in the Netherlands. I have a question for you.
More than 10 years ago I bought a Flip videocamera Mino HD in the US.
Model: F460W PSV 465
Serial number: LW0907601609
The camera software (Flipshare) is not anymore available (end of life policy Cisco).
I used tot have a setup exe file on my harddisk, but because I had a computercrash I cannot access the setup exe file anymore.del:
Searching on the internet, I can not find the right (free) downloadable Flipshare software.
I still use the camera and just came back from a trip to South Africa where I made many movies that I would like to organize and edit with the Flipshare software.
Is there anyone who could send me the Flipshare software 5.12?
It would make me very happy and I will immediately make a backup file...
Kind regards.
Tineke

I also have a Flip Video camera that I would like to continue to use. FlipShare 5.12.3 continues to work on my old iMac but NOT on the new iMac that I recently purchased (January 2020). I went to Apple support and here is what's going on (see below).
Cisco bought Flip Video (in 2009, I think) and I'm sure there must still be lots of people out there, like me, who want to be able to continue to access their Flip videos on their new computers. Would it be so hard for Cisco to produce a FlipShare 64-bit-compatible upgrade? I would be perfectly happy to pay for it. I have hundreds of precious Flip videos and the old FlipShare is a wonderful domain in which to show and organize the those videos.

Here is from Apple support:
About the transition to 64-bit technology and how it affects 32-bit apps.
Apple began transitioning to 64-bit hardware and software technology for Mac over a decade ago, and all modern Macs now include powerful 64-bit processors that can run advanced 64-bit apps. These apps can access dramatically more memory, enable faster system performance, and take advantage of technologies that define today's Mac experience, such as Metal graphics acceleration.
Apple has been working with developers to transition their apps, and in 2018 Apple informed them that macOS Mojave would be the last version of macOS to run 32-bit apps.
Apple's transition to 64-bit technology is now complete. Starting with macOS Catalina, 32-bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS. If you have a 32-bit app, please check with the app developer for a 64-bit version.
