Packet tracer - Static route and tracert

Hello everybody!

I'm experimenting with static routes using Packet Tracer.

If you look at my configuration below, you can see that I can ping PC3 from PC1. However, traceroute misses the router R3 (10.1.0.1) and instead shows REQUEST TIMED OUT.

Is there an explanation for this?

attach ur PT file here in a zip format then we can invastigate.  Note that PT is just a simulator based on but not real IOS. if u have too much stuff going on, u may have delays or a missing packets;  Is this happening all the time? always?

I can see two pictures. One PacketTracer and one gns3. Why is that?
