I have Cisco Cisco 4507r+E with sup7-E , i have issue with the module "WS-X4748-RJ45V+E" it gives me green ampere while it is not connected , i try to diagnose the issue shutting down the interface and no-shutdown it again but it doesn't work .
I searched Cisco and they mentioned that i have to upgrade the software of the switch . My current software is as following
Version 03.01.01.SG & ROM15.0(1r)SG1 .I want to know the following
- what is the best software i have to upgrade to
- do i need to upgrade the ROM software of the switch before upgrade the switch software
- what is the steps of upgrade " Either software or "Software+ROM"
