Unable to restore cisco prime 3.8 database on new installed 3.9

I'm trying to upgrade from prime infrastructure 3.8 to 3.9 by taking a backup and restoring to a new 3.9 virtual appliance.

Getting the following error when restoring, although the documentation shows that you should be able to restore from 3.7 and 3.8 to 3.9.

Answering my own question. I was trying to restore the wrong backup file, supposed to restore the application backup.
