How does this page work?

Refer to the Cisco Community Help Page for general Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and best practices. Avoid duplication and always refer to Cisco Community Guidelines.

What is the purpose of the CX Cloud Idea Exchange?

The CX Cloud Idea Exchange is your place to share thoughts on how to make CX Cloud better for everyone. You play a critical role in shaping the future of CX Cloud, and we want to hear from you. Post your own original ideas in the CX Cloud Idea Exchange or vote on and comment on previously submitted ideas. Click here to learn more about Cisco Community.

Why should I submit an idea?

  • Ownership over an idea might just become a product feature one day
  • Ability to monitor updates about your idea (upvotes, questions, status updates)
  • Answer questions, further clarify, or elaborate on ideas in collaboration with others who read/interact with/comment on your idea

What do I need to know before posting an idea?

All ideas should meet the following requirements:

  • Verify whether the idea already exists; Upvote or comment on an existing idea to show support or add input
  • Confirm that the idea is not a bug or defect; CX Cloud bugs should not be submitted to this portal
  • Ideas must be submitted in English
  • This is not the platform to report defects; Defects should be reported by submitting a support case

Note: Idea submissions that do not meet the above requirements will be marked “Shelved”.

How can I submit an idea?

After reviewing existing ideas, click Create New Idea to submit a new idea. If a similar idea already exists, upvote or comment to show support for that idea instead of creating a new entry.

What makes a good idea?

  • A clear, unique, concise title to distinguish this idea from others with similar themes
  • Selecting an appropriate label to associate the idea with a product or department
  • Providing details about the feature idea
  • Explaining your current experience with the application and what you are looking to change
  • Explain how this idea adds value for your organization
  • Every idea needs a "CX Cloud" or "PX Cloud" label; any additional Tile labels used must align with the platform chosen [Internal Only]

Note: Ideas lacking relevant information will be closed.

How does voting work?

  • Use a thumbs up to upvote or a thumbs down to downvote ideas
  • Upvoting an idea adds one (1) point
  • Ideas with more points are given precedence by the Product Team

Is my idea anonymous?

  • Users can see the username and profile photo of the idea submitter which can be changed at any time; Moderators can view your email address and company name

I just submitted an idea! What happens next?

Upon submission, ideas marked as “New” display on the CX & PX Cloud Idea Exchanges. Moderators review new ideas to ensure all requirements have been met.

How does the idea selection and development process work?

  • Ideas are reviewed by the Product Feedback team weekly for feasibility, effort, and strategic alignment
  • Our teams work diligently to understand the best possible solutions to customer problems
  • You will be notified of status updates on your idea or any idea you choose to comment on (via email)
