career with ccna

My question is about career with ccna. I'm brand new to ccna and having quite a bit difficulties understanding ccna course materials. I was a commerce student before therefore I'm quite nervous about the ccna. If anybody helps me giving me some advice taking the ccna exam or the potential career growth with it. 

#  How would any it employer evaluate a resume just ccna without a bachelor degree ?

# How often the ccna exam take place within a year ?  I would appreciate anybody answering my questions. Thanks.
