I have trouble trying to get interface utilization statistics from DNA center. The API guide shows the interface details and operation status and in Network health also the rx/tx byte counters is not shown.

what is the API query for getting device port utilization?

Hi Mehul,

Niranjana here. I would assist you with your query. Could you please describe more so that I could understand you concern?

Hi nirraman,

What i want to do is monitor port bandwidth utilization through DNA center. This data is shown in DNA Center health for devices in interface section. but i am able to get this through API neither in interface details or Network health APIs.

Hi Mehul, Could you please let us know which DNA Center version are you running?

Also this page has some command to get any interface Information : https://developer.cisco.com/docs/dna-center/#!get-interface-info-by-id

hi nirmann,

I don't remember the version for my DNA center. But I started testing with
dnacsandbox and still got same results

Hi Mehul,

I think you wanted this data to be taken using API from DNAC. I believe there is nothing specific to the "monitoring port bandwidth utilization through DNA center".

Right now API to pull information from interface is not there but it can be done via command runner API to achieve that https://developer.cisco.com/docs/dna-center/#!command-runner/endpoints-and-methods-used

In future if we get any Information we shall pass it on to you . Is there anything else that wwe can help you with?

Thanks nirraman.

Hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions please do post it and we shall assist.

Thanks !
Niranjana Ramanan
