I am familiar with using Pyats/Genie from the Linux shell to accomplish many task however I am now wanting to integrate into larger automation instead of one off terminal commands from a prompt. I do see a few examples using Robot framework to do this, has anyone else used Pyats/Genie stand alone without the need for Robot or other frameworks in the picture or is Robot the best method to make use of the tooling available with Pyats and Genie today? I do know about the modules and support from Ansible, however I am trying to not have to rely on Ansible due to the way we are wanting to make use of the functionality of the tools at hand. Any help yall have or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Cool stuff. I searched these two resources for the term 'genie' and both returned multiple results which included both Genie and pyATS:
Cisco DevNet Code Exchange
https://developer.cisco.com/codeexchange/
Cisco DevNet Automation Exchange
https://developer.cisco.com/network-automation/
Hope this helps!
