hello
its been a while since I worked with this enviornemt, I'm unable to connect to the IOS-XR always on sandbox.
after launching I receive an email with the credentials, it is unclear rather I need the VPN installed and launched to access always on enviornment or just use the credentials given over the internet. I read some threads claiming either.
on the email I'm receiving no VPN details, just ssh credentials, same as I/O tab on the lab.
the SSH over the internet times out, I'd installed the Cisco vpn client but I have no vpn gateway or credentials to setup.
Any links to setup the vpn not really revealing any insights.

What information did you received on the email? You dont need to paste here, just ask:
Is it an url or IP Address?
If URL, can you resolve it on your local machine but running nslookup 'url' ?
If you received an IP address, which kind of IP address?
Is it public IP or private IP?
If private, you need a VPN
else, you should be able to establish SSH.

Hi Flavio
the email i got was URL under cisco.com zone, it is resolved to public ip in San Jose I believe
I'd checked other resolvers to see if my dns has old records but all 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, 9.9.9.9 were pointing to the same public IP (131.226.x.x)
non pingable, ran wireshark while running ssh, no response was seeing from the server.
this is the ios-xr always on lab, for the xrd segment routing lab i got vpn details, but all i need is to explore netconf yang structure in building rpc so i'm not eager to sacrifice the pc to the vpn client, if i can avoid it
