Nexus 9K - Jumbo Frame / MTU config

Hello,

what would be the config if I want to enable Jumbo frames for this requirement (see draw attached please).

I want to enable jumbo frames among all 3 servers. The switch is a Nexus 93XX.

Server 1 and 2 are on the same VLAN.

Server 3 is on another VLAN.

What do I need to configure ? Only physical eth ports? and the SVIs too?

Please help.

Hello,

I have read that doc and others but I still have doubts.

for example in my example, If it is intra VLAN I only need to enable it (mtu 9216) on the L2 ethernet interfaces ?

And if it is inter VLAN, only then I need to enable it on the SVIs (plus the L2 ethernet interfaces) ??

So what set of commands would be necessary to accomplish what I originally posted in that simple topology?

To enable Jumbo frames on your Nexus 9300 switch for the servers and SVIs, you'll need to make configurations on both the physical Ethernet interfaces and the SVIs.
