Cisco Catalyst C1200 stacking

Hi,

I’ve reviewed the official datasheet for the Cisco Catalyst C1200 Series but couldn’t find any mention of stacking support (either physical or virtual). Does anyone know if the C1200 series supports stacking in any way, for example, using uplink ports like the C1300?

If anyone has experience or clarification on this, I’d really appreciate it.

the reason for not finding any mentioning of stacking support is simple:

The Catalyst 1200 Series switches do not support stacking.

If you need the stacking feature, you need to take a look at the Catalyst 1300 Series switches which offer Front Panel Stacking capability for up to eight switches.

It’s now clear that the Catalyst C1200 series does not support stacking, either physical or virtual. I really appreciate the detailed explanations and the helpful links, special thanks to @Jens Albrecht, @Leo Laohoo, and @balaji.bandi for clarifying this.

Catalyst 1200 will never support stacking nor Horizontal Stacking. 

Only the 1300 has stacking support.

As other members mentioned there is no stack support Cat 1200 model, if you not purchased already better look for upper model which support stack features.
