API Documentation specifically for SM/MDM

Tommy_SL

I see there are a few API calls we can utilize with SM/MDM on the https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/ page but this page is not very well laid out and difficult to navigate/search. Based on the information on this page it appears to be very limited on what we can do. Is there documentation with a complete list of all the available API calls for SM/MDM by chance? Greatly appreciate it!

hi @Tommy_SL and welcome. There is a Meraki documentation library but nothing of note for API's and SM/MDM:

SM - Endpoint Management - Cisco Meraki

@DarrenOCThanks for that information. I already have access to those pages, but unfortunately, they aren't very helpful. Was looking for complete documentation specifically for the APIs themselves. The pages you linked to have "some" useful information but not a lot pertaining specifically to SM/MDM. Do you or anyone here know if there's documentation like this that exists and is publicly available?

At the moment I don't think there is any documentation that highlights SM only APIs. The SM documentation itself is contained within the more generic API doc that you referred to earlier (https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/), and you would have to know your way.

The important and useful SM endpoints will be under API/Products/sm/ in the API reference menu (get devices, modify tags etc...).

You might also find the endpoints under Platform/configure/pii/smDevicesForKey and Platform/configure/pii/smOwnersForKey useful when making queries that involved device owner.
