Hi Everyone!
I have recently downloaded the and installed the latest Meraki MDM agent for Windows from our companies Meraki portal.
When downloaded its reported as safe. Upon running it, everything looks fine; Windows states certificates are valid etc however when the service starts up, our companies chosen anti-virus "Symantec Endpoint protection for small businesses" reports the "m_agent_service.exe" as not having a valid certificate and attempts to block it from connecting to the Internet.
I just want to make sure this is a false positive and the payload hasn't been compromised: like with "CCleaner" a couple years back.
Executable: m_agent_service.exe
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Meraki\PCC Agent 1.0.98\
Thanks for your help

Symantec had a terrible history with their CA certifcate service. The industry gave up trusting them.

I would say if you downloaded it directly from the Meraki dashboard it is likely to be safe
