Hello - I need to pass the machine name that the job ran on instead of the "friendly name" of the agent connection. <JobAgent> is the name of the connection, but I am not finding one for the machine name. Does anyone have a method for getting the machine name placed in an email?
Thanks!

Hi Michelle,
Here's an easy way to do this AgentName = "friendly name" + machine name
This should be a part of your naming conventions, Tidal Standards

Derrick - Thank you for your suggestion.
We keep our AgentName generic across environments to reduce Transporter errors.

I name (or rename) my agent names to reflect the hostname of the actual box running the agent. this way I can pass the hostname to a TESjob/process via the <Agentname> variable.
AFAIK, you can safely rename the agents from the connections view. Referential integrity in the DB will repopulate the new information in all your TES objects
