newScale / Remedy ServiceLink - XML accepts French Language?

Customer asks us to create newScale request form in French language (labels, descriptions, email format, etc).  We did, the RC's request form is fine.  However, when the requisition is forwarded to Remedy via ServiceLink, the ServiceLink fails of XML message containing the French characters.  Does anyone know how to get around this?  We're looking into having request forms in French, Portugees, and Spanish as well.

ServiceLink XML supports UTF-8 encoding.

There are upgrades that fix some encoding issues in RC2006.

Please contact NCC (Newscale customer care) for details on the specific version of RC required.
