Production Date Offset

Hi,

I have a set of jobs being scheduled to start from 2 pm and these jobs continues to the next day. I want to offset my production date 10 hours backward so that all my jobs will be completed in one Production day.
I have a few questions about setting the Production offset.
1. There a other jobs which are scheduled before 2 pm and which might get carried forward after 2 pm. Will these jobs get timed out after 2 pm. (if disable carry over is set)? If so, is there a way I can uncheck the disable carry over option for all the jobs affected.
2. The calendar is set as Monday - Friday. The days corresponds to the calendar day and not the Production Day. Is this correct?

answers:

1.  a) If the jobs are in execution at 2pm then those jobs will complete

     b) if you have enabled carryover for successors in the defaults tab of your product configuration and an upstream dependency of one of your post-2pm jobs is in execution during 2pm then your jobs will complete

     c) otherwise, if you have disabled carryover then, yes, your jobs will not carry over
