Synchronizing MasterJavaTimeZone cache failed

Reginald Hill

Master 6.2.1.378

Plugins 6.2.1.378

CM 6.2.1.340

Oracle 11 DB

Synchronizing MasterJavaTimeZone cache failed at 3am start of New Production day (daily)

We are running the Client Manager on Linux with  6.2.1 SP2. The JC can connect to the Master and see data but the users are unable to login with the WebClient until after the CM is restarted. When this problem occurs the users are prompted for username/password, LDAP authentication and the TES Banner appear but no data displays. This issue is occurring even without the Master cache failure. Several times a day we have to restart the CM after receiving  message " IO Error Connection reset"

I see the following messages are in the logs:

WARN:/client:xxxxxxxx:Exception while dispatching incoming RPC call org.eclipse.jetty.io.EofException

Caused by: java.io.IOException:Connection reset by peer

ClientNode:Synchronizing MasterJavaTimeZone cache failed.

ClientNode:Closed Connection

java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: Closed Connection

Any idea what and where the problem may be? Your feedback is greatly appreciated

Speculating - could it be that there is a time difference between the servers, which sometimes causes issues ?
