show processes memory is the RAM available in the router - think of it like RAM in a computer. It's where the IOS and programming are running the day to day operations of the router.

show flash - this is flash memory. Think of it like a flash card in a digital camera. It's bulk storage for the IOS and the configuration that is applied when the router is started. In a 2951 you'll see the compact flash modules on the left hand side, 2 of them, when you are looking at the working ports.
