4210: 5.x

Question 1:

Will the 5.x code work in IPS mode on a 4210? From what I have been reading it looks like it will only work in IPS mode.

Question 2:

Will the current sensor manager work with the 5.x code or do I need to upgrade it also?

5.x code will work in IDS mode as well as in IPS mode.

You need to update your IDSMC to the latest release, that supports IPS5.0

Keep in mind the 4210 does NOT support inline mode. For inline mode you need two sensing interfaces, the 4210 only comes with one and is not upgradable, so it will only work in IDS (promiscuous) mode.

The 5.0 code will work fine, just not in inline mode.
