hi,

i need to upgrade several ASA 5525-X code to support the aaa authorization exec authentication-server auto-enable command. some of the FW are on default 8.6.x code and i need to upgrade them to our standard 9.2(4)8.

my question, can anyone confirm the upgrade path i need is: 8.6 > 9.0.2 > 9.2(4)8?

Administrative Features
Improved one-time password authentication

Administrators who have sufficient authorization privileges may enter privileged EXEC mode by entering their authentication credentials once. The auto-enable option was added to the aaa authorization exec command.

We modified the following command: aaa authorization exec.

→ 9.7(x)

9.6(x)

→ 9.5(x)

9.4(x)

→ 9.3(x)

→ 9.2(x)

→ 9.1(3), 9.1(4), 9.1(5), 9.1(6), 9.1(7.4)

That picture says it right: go to 9.0(2) then to 9.2(x).

thanks for the confirmation!
