Is it possible to disable the automatic command replication in a failover ASA configuration?

In this case ('no failover' command) the standby unit won't switch automatically to active state when needed (unless issuing the 'failover active' command).
Our need is to maintain the active/standby pair working without automatic configuration replication (do it only when requested).
Thank you.

i don't think there's a way to do that. why would you need that anyway?
