Actually I have two sites geographically connected by a WAN LInk of 2 Mbps.

On SITE-A I need to install OnE ASA 5520 doing LAN Failover to ASA 5520 on SITE-B.

My question is, Is Posible to do a FAILOVER LAN by a WAN link of the two Mbps??

Or it must have a 100MB of Bandwidth ?

There`s is a specific bandwidht requiritment for Failover over LAN ??

check this link "http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa80/configuration/guide/failover.html#wp1051745"

It can be only be a lan based connection

Connect the LAN failover link in one of the following two ways:

•Using a switch, with no other device on the same network segment (broadcast domain or VLAN) as the LAN failover interfaces of the ASA.

•Using a crossover Ethernet cable to connect the appliances directly, without the need for an external switch.
