ASA REST API and multicontext

I have been trying out the REST API on a multicontext ASA and so far having limited luck. I do realize there is limited support (sending CLI commands only) but even that doesnt work. It currently kicks back a 500 error which indicates server side problem. If you look at the debugs on the ASA, you see a bunch of Java crash output when it throws the 500. This happens when sending from a REST client as well as using the ASAs sandbox web interface

The funny part is if you do a debug while connection to the sandbox, you see a 500 code generated when the sandbox interface tries to pull down and display the ASA version. If I try this on an ASAv, it works fine

Running ASA 9.4(2) and REST API 1.2(2).

Anyone else have any luck?
